Beginning in 2022, Gabriel Gage and Tophia Slydell (known popularly by their online handles Nova Online and Tophiachu) were engaged in an online feud, making videos, livestreams and regular posts on multiple social media platforms calling the opposing party out for their wrongdoings, while conveniently leaving out their own. The feud seem to calm down by 2024, especially as both parties had larger matters to tend too in their personal lives (like Tophia going homeless and finding new housing, and Gabriel going through multiple controversies and hackings).
Background
Tophia and Gabriel are both infamous lolcows in their own rights. However, the two both have monstrous egos which prevent them from seeing themselves in the wrong. This leads to them ultimately pointing to anything or anyone that could absolve themselves of due blame or paint themselves in a more positive light.
Course of the feud
The feud began in 2022 with Gabriel publishing a video calling out Tophia for her repeated usage of racial, transphobic and ableist slurs. Soon after, Tophia fired back with a video calling him a predator and delving into his ageplay kink and leaks showing him talking to minors inappropriately. The feud continued into next year, with both of them increasing the severity of their accusations towards each other as more lulzy trolling results and controversies came out from each figure online. By the end of 2023, the feud seemed to have slow down (with Tophia's family being evicted from their apartment, going homeless and then living in a motel), with Gabriel seemingly moving on with his life besides the occasional video pertaining to the feud every now-and-then. The feud seems dead in the water as of 2024.
