The Unholy Tetrad, a term borrowed from the CWCsphere, refers to four commonly frowned-upon actions in the Novaverse and community:
- Weening: trying and failing to troll/annoy Gabriel, making oneself look buffoonish & annoying due to inexperience in lolcow culture (e.g. LOLBURGER)
- A-Logging: erroneously exaggerating all of Gabriel's faults
- Whiteknighting: ignoring all of Gabriel's obvious misdeeds and bad traits to defend him from trolling
- Enabling: playing into Gabriel's fantasies or helping him (usually financially, but in other ways as well). (e.g Thoughtless)
The Nova Online Wiki is explicitly meant for passive observers: people who watch his antics from afar and document it via video essays or this very wiki.
Weening
Weening, or failtrolling, is the act of trying and failing to annoy Gabriel, making oneself look buffoonish and annoying due to inexperience in lolcow culture. Let's get one thing straight: you are not Clyde Cash nor ZILLA, and would likely end up being a ween by trying to troll Gabriel. You also have nothing to gain from trolling him.
A-Logging
A-Logging is the act of exaggerating all of Gabriel's faults to unneededly hyperbolic levels. Gabriel is a documented horrible person, with mountains of evidence to back that up. What he is not, however, is someone more dangerous than an infamous lolcow: he is not Hitler, Stalin or Saddam Hussein, and exaggerating his failings to make him equal to them makes you look thoughtless at best, and insensitive at worst.
Whiteknighting
Whiteknighting is the act of taking up the role as one of Gabriel's defenders online, usually ignoring the mountain of evidence proving he's a sexual defiant and egotistical narcissist. Only seeing him as a poor victim under attack from relentless trolls. This act is also called buddy-trolling; the Nova Online Wiki and the Discord community accompanying it absolutely will not host whiteknights/buddy-trolls, and you will be banned if evidence surfaces proving you are one.
Enabling
Enabling is the act of playing into Gabriel's delusions and fantasies by helping him; this can range from financial help to, like Thoughtless, offering and now serving as the “rebuilder” of his now-ramshackled Discord server, despite previously destroying it.
