Seems like you want to know what's acceptable and what's not acceptable here on the wiki. Well, here is a list of rules/standards for you to follow.

Rules (WORK IN PROGRESS)

  • 1) DO. NOT. DOXX.
    • Arguably one of the most serious rules on the Wiki. Doxxing in any way shape or form is illegal, and immoral. Doxxing is also disallowed by many registrars and is commonly seen as highly malicious. So don't do it.

  • 2) Keep it truthful.
    • We at the Nova Online Wiki strive to provide legitimate information regarding our favorite food reviewer. Pages are allowed to have a bit of satire sprinkled on it, much like the CWCki. Overall, all information must be legitimate.

  • 3) Regarding pornographic/unsafe for work content.
    • In most cases, NSFW content will warrant a permanent ban. The only time that there will be an exception is if it was posted on Nova's accounts and if it was made by Nova himself. Other than that, NSFW content is banned.

  • 4) Don't Vandalize pages.
    • This is very simple. Vandalism on wikis mean to replace parts of a page with something unnecessary, completely replacing it, or adding unnecessary details to a page. Please do not vandalize pages, as your efforts of vandalism can be undone within a matter of seconds. You will pretty much be wasting everyones (including your own) time by doing this, so just don't.

  • 5) Keep it Legal.
    • Please refrain from the following: Making any kind of threats towards Nova (or anyone, frankly), provide instructions to make substances or anything else illegal in the eyes of the law, Doxxing (refer to rule 2), or providing content in general that is illegal. Violators will be IP banned permanently. This is also to prevent our site from being taken down.

  • 6) Regarding images.
    • You are allowed to upload any image you please, so long as you use it in a page. Images that are not used in any page after a period of time will be deleted automatically. It is also recommended you keep the images you upload tied back to Nova. Lastly, refer to rule 3, as irrelevant pornographic material will warrant a permanent ban from the wiki.
    • If there are images with unrelated usernames that are uncensored, please censor them.

  • 7) Regarding Sockpuppetry.
    • Sockpuppetry is allowed, but only if the sock in question is to perform different actions on the wiki, say you make one account for editing, and a sock for meta/template editing. Sockpuppetry will NOT be allowed for ban evading, and will warrant an IP ban from making accounts.

  • 8) Regarding Racism & Bigotry.
    • Racism & Bigotry of any sort is not allowed and will result in a week-long ban. Offensive language however is allowed, however to a certain extent, and must only be used when it's actually necessary. An example of this is when quoting people. An incorrect example is just outright calling people names.

  • 9) Keep it reliable.
    • All pages must have at least 3 sources. Any page with less than 3 sources will have the {{NeedsCitations}} template on the top of the page. If the information is from another article, you are free to cite to another page.
