When we say "Don't touch the poop", what we mean is that you shouldn't try to contact Nova to either troll him or gain his trust and become his friend. The golden age of lolcows ended well over a decade ago, and as such many people hearing about Nova (whom is a relatively new lolcow) don't have sufficient experience in lolcow culture to be a well-preforming troll. Many who have tried to troll Nova in the past have ended up as weens, and subsequently were doxxed as deterrence.
While it is tempting to view Nova as a helpless victim being bullied by the internet, in reality most of his woes online ultimately circle back to him. He is an extreme narcissist and egotist, and believes that he is superior to many people (especially trolls); he has yet to realize that if he simply got off the internet or stopped posting content, the scene around him would dry up, his trolls would leave to other more productive lolcows, and he would be left alone. However, he believes that he must have the last word, and as such has even declared war on his trolls. We mean this in a genuine way when we ask: with all this in mind, is Nova really someone you want to befriend?
Not only would he rope you into his weird ageplaying fantasies, or try to use you as cover to defend him against trolls or people calling him out on his grooming allegations or abhorrent behavior, becoming a friend or enabler of Nova would also alienate you from the rest of the community besides him and his own circle of friends.
It's not worth it to be a friend of NovaOnline. Don't touch the poop.
