The Nova Online Wiki, otherwise known as The Blasphemous Wiki, is a Wiki dedicated to documenting Gabriel “Nova Online” Gage as accurately as possible with little to no Bias.

History of the Nova Online Wiki

Originally created in around January 2024, the Nova Online Wiki was made on Fandom. After a while, reality set in and admins on Fandom started taking down some images and took down the entire Tophiachu wiki. The Nova Online Wiki was later taken down from fandom due to fandom having strict rules on wikis regarding lolcows (Example: the WanceChilkins Wiki or Cyraxx Wiki was taken down by fandom). The wiki was then re-created independently from the ground up with the MediaWiki software.

MediaWiki was installed on April 3, 2024. From there on out, h3xed had the goal of reaching 10 articles prior to publicly releasing the Wiki. On April 23, 2024, the goal was reached, and the Wiki released to the public on that day.

On the same day, a user named Maevings joined the wiki, becoming the first user to join upon public release.

At June 27, 2024, the wiki was subject to change domain names from novineuniverse.xyz to novaonline.wiki, the one it is at today. The reason for this being that the new domain was much more appealing than the other one. The domain novineuniverse.xyz redirects to the new one.

During the same day, Nova went on stream and proceeded to threaten h3xed with legal action over the wiki.

November 16th panic

On November 16, the managers decided to upgrade the software from MediaWiki 1.41 to 1.42. Things quickly went downhill, as many errors followed. The managers spent hours trying to think of something, but luckily, a complete backup of the wiki before the upgrade was made, and the wiki was successfully upgraded. Maevings was responsible for restoring all of the pages and images. However, there was a hole in this measure; things such as logs and accounts could not be backed up, meaning anyone who had an account before November 16, 2024 had to make a new account.

The wiki was down for an estimated 3-4 hours due to this. In celebration of everything going well, Maevings gave the wiki a brand new look.
